Inside of the burrow near the back hidden away in a complex of tunnels is the leader’s compartment. It has a soft grass nest for the leader to sleep on. This is where meetings are held with the deputy and older rabbits.

This is where nursing mothers take care of their young until they are old enough to come above ground. The dirt floor is covered in soft grasses and flowers it is located deep in the burrow for safety.
